As a kid, the Fourth of July was one of my favorite holidays. It meant that carefree summers were in full swing! Streets were lined with American flags and banners and everyone came out for the fun. It meant poolside cookouts with hot dogs and hamburgers, not to be confused with a “barbeque” in TX!
It meant community parades, ice cream, and fireworks! My favorite fireworks were in the park between the high school and middle school across sprawling hills. Our family would come out early, before the sun would set. We’d spread out our blankets, set up our picnic dinner, and then run about the other familes playing tag, fly kites or simply roll down the hills until we were dizzy.
Wherever you may be celebrating, or whatever you may be doing this weekend, I hope that you find some time to run barefoot in the grass, light a sparkler or two, and create fond memories with friends and family members.
And here’s a little smile from my two little firecrackers from our family to yours!
Next week, I’ll be sharing some of the more recent market updates, and some good news about where we are and where we’re headed into the future with regard to real estate! But if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me beforehand!
Please let me know if there’s anything I can do for you…
Until next time… keep smiling… be kind… and stay safe out there 🙂
Yours in Success,
Heather Tankersley
