And with Thanksgiving just done, we&#8217;re in full swing holiday promotion season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are a few of the highlights!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.&nbsp;<strong>Use percentage discounts for promotions<\/strong>&nbsp;(Save 20% today!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.&nbsp;<strong>Include the promotion directly in the subject line<\/strong>&nbsp;(Free shipping today ONLY)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.emaildelivered.com\/email-marketing-mobile-friendly\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Optimize your emails for mobile<\/a><\/strong>.&nbsp; Only 40% of emails sent by the top 1,000 U.S. web merchant are mobile optimized!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.&nbsp;<strong>Keep subject lines short<\/strong>&nbsp;(Most clients show between 40-60 characters)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5.&nbsp;<strong>Don&#8217;t overdo the promos<\/strong>! Subscribers are going to be flooded with email for the next 6 weeks. The response is not simply &#8220;Send more&#8221;.
